When malls are closed at least on weekends,
When people save more than they eat
When people do notice, what they eat?

Wasn’t this the time we called for?
When factories stop, because it’s dangerous to produce,
When we run through shops, because it’s dangerous
When dangerous is a stadium pop concert?

Wasn’t this the time we wanted?
When it’s futile to release pop bacilli,
As the listener doesn’t believe, maybe you don’t believe it yourself
That you always are or want to be positive?

We produced poison that suffocates something bigger.
Who has to lose his breath for us to understand it?
Only losing our breath, we understand, what it means to suffocate,
Only receiving poison, we get frightened.
